Job Purpose
The Graphic Design and Digital Content Coordinator is responsible to assist in the design, creation and dissemination of print and digital content related to the promotion of Sask Sport communications, marketing, and advertising activities. The position reports to the Communications Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designs a variety of corporate, marketing, and promotional materials for a variety of print and digital platforms (Ex. web, social media, advertising, etc.).
  • Optimizes video content for different platforms (Ex. aspect ratios, captions, pacing, and length).
  • Plans, shoots and edits high-quality video content for social media and websites to support the Communications Specialists/Coordinators.
  • Ensures all designed material aligns with the organization’s brand guidelines.
  • Ensuring all members have the tools and digital material needed to use our branding and recognition items in accordance with our guidelines.
  • Manage and communicate requests for envelopes, posters and any other print shop related items to appropriate avenues.
  • Assist with quality control of promotional items, ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand guidelines.
  • Assist with the Saskatchewan Sport Awards event planning and design execution and other corporate events as needed.
  • Provide back up for Prize Payout Office.
    • Including but not limited to providing excellent customer service, while processing winning lotteries claims and information to players.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Learning and integrating new technology
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Acrobat Pro)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint
  • High organizational skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Active listening and effective communication skills in verbal and written formats
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
  • Professionalism in all circumstances
  • Experience working with a variety of individuals and groups
  • Professional mannerism and discretion in handling confidential information and materials

Qualifications and Experience

  • Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or similar discipline or equivalent education and/or training
  • Knowledge and experience in the Saskatchewan lotteries system

Working Conditions

  • Full-time (37.5 hours per week), temporary
  • Overtime work may be necessary during busy periods
  • Office environment, occasionally lifting items between 10 – 35lbs
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation
